Picnic for the Parks was launched in 2022 as a reasonably priced, daytime, zero waste gathering that includes all the best parts of Nashville: good food & drink with live entertainment. This event is held in a different park every year to showcase a capital project being championed by the Nashville Parks Foundation. Picnic for the Parks has been held at Fort Negley and Watkins Park, and was mostly recently at McCabe Park in 2024 raising money for a new playground as well as repairs and improvements throughout the park and community center.
Join us in contributing to the expansion of parks and programming with a reasonably priced, zero-waste event held on Saturday, September 20th in the vibrant 12 South neighborhood. Proceeds will be shared between Sevier Park and Kirkpatrick Park because every neighborhood deserves a great park.
Tickets include catering by Edley’s BBQ, live music and an open bar. We hope to see you there!
